Calculations stay in your browser
The dates you enter are processed in your browser. When you share a result, the dates are stored in the part of the link after the # sign, which browsers do not send to our servers.
Two exceptions: if JavaScript is turned off, the calculator form sends your dates to our server to work out the result, and our hosting provider's logs may keep them for a short time. If you choose “Google Calendar” under a result, the event name and date are sent to Google.
Stored on your device
We save your preferred date format, first day of the week, working days and holidays in your browser's local storage so they are ready next time. You can clear them in your browser settings at any time.
Cookies and analytics
We don't set cookies. If we add visitor statistics, we will use a privacy-friendly service that does not use cookies and will name it here.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider records technical information such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the service secure and working. These logs are kept for a limited time.
